    We are currently investigating an issue affecting settlement payouts for a subset of transactions where the acquirer is Rapyd. This is not affecting transactions processed via Nets or Shift4. Our engineering team is actively looking into a communication issue between Rapyd and the downstream acquirer that may be preventing transaction batches from being properly sent and settled. **What this means for you:** * **Processing:** Active store transactions are still completing successfully. * **Payouts:** Pending payouts or settlements routed through Rapyd may be temporarily delayed while we resolve this connection issue. We are treating this with the highest priority and are working closely with the acquiring partner to ensure all affected funds are settled as quickly as possible

Jul 16, 07:00:00 GMT+0 - Identified - AltaPay merchants using **Rapyd** acquiring are experiencing a delay in merchant settlements due to an external systems issue. **Rapyd** reported a temporary systems outage with **Banking Circle** which is the service used to process settlements. Because of this issue, merchant payouts scheduled for **July 16, 2026**, could not be processed. Rapyd has indicated that they expect these delayed payouts to be completed and processed today, **July 17, 2026**. We will share updates if we detect any further expected delays.

    Our technical team has identified a problem with the **3D Secure (3DS)** authentication flow within the Shopify embedded application. Because the 3DS verification is not functioning correctly, customers are unable to finalize their payments at checkout. If your store is affected, you can restore credit card processing by temporarily switching from the embedded application to our regular Shopify application. Detailed instructions for setting up and configuring both applications can be found on our [AltaPay Shopify Wiki](https://github.com/AltaPay/plugin-shopify/wiki).
