At 1:05 PM EST, our team identified the cause of the disruption affecting some Loyalty & Referrals merchants. A backend issue with our Loyalty Tiers service was preventing customer data from loading correctly in Admin for some stores. We are restarting the affected systems and monitoring recovery. Some merchants using Loyalty Tiers may still experience brief delays while we confirm full recovery across all stores. No customer data has been lost — this issue affected the display and loading of customer data in Admin, not the underlying records. At 4:00 AM Israel time, we released a new version of our app that included an updated Shopify webhook version. Due to a recent change in Shopify’s interface, each new release now requires manual selection of app scopes. This step was missed, which caused the affected version to be released without the required permissions. By 8:00 AM, we identified the issue and rolled the release back to the previous stable version. Impact: Only merchants who logged into the app between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM Israel time were affected. For those merchants, Shopify-related actions (such as redeeming points) are currently not functioning due to lost permissions. Trying to log back into the app through Shopify will resolve the issue.
