The API NatWest domain (api.natwest.com) certificate was renewed on our side on 18 June at 18:27 BST. We would like to inform you that an issue impacting Open Banking payment (PISP) consent journeys has now been resolved. Between 02:15 and 02:54 BST on 09 May 2026, third-party providers may have experienced elevated failure rates when attempting to complete payment consents across NatWest, Royal Bank, and Ulster Bank. The issue was caused by a infrastructure change, which has been rolled back. Service was fully restored by 02:54 BST, and all impacted components are now operating normally.
