We would like to inform you that an issue impacting Open Banking payment (PISP) consent journeys has now been resolved. Between 02:15 and 02:54 BST on 09 May 2026, third-party providers may have experienced elevated failure rates when attempting to complete payment consents across NatWest, Royal Bank, and Ulster Bank. The issue was caused by a infrastructure change, which has been rolled back. Service was fully restored by 02:54 BST, and all impacted components are now operating normally. We continue to monitor performance closely and are conducting a detailed review to prevent recurrence. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience. Should you have any concerns or need support, get in touch via our API Service Desk. We’ll be on hand to help.
