Incident Overview: Customers and end users using BankID Norway may have experienced errors or failures when attempting to authenticate or sign documents. Authentication using code devices (kodebrikke) was not affected and functioned normally throughout the incident. We have been informed that signers may experience errors when using the latest version of AusweisApp (2.6.0). Previous versions of AusweisApp continue to function normally, so signers are advised to postpone updating to version 2.6.0 until the issue has been resolved. We will update this page as soon as updates are available from our service provider.

The issue is resolved with the new version (v2.6.1) provided by Ausweis. We recommend that all users upgrade to the latest version of AusweisApp (v2.6.1) on all devices to ensure proper functionality and an optimal user experience.

Due to an ongoing issue with the Danish CPR register, MitID QES is temporarily unavailable for private companies. We have therefore disabled the MitID QES option, so signers will not be able to select it. MitID AdES remains available and is not affected by this issue. MitID Erhverv can also still be used for QES. We are monitoring the situation and will re-enable MitID QES once CPR register lookups are available again. We are investigating an ongoing issue in the Sandbox environment impacting Penneo QES signing and document finalisation, active since Friday, September 25. Impact: Signing attempts using Penneo QES are currently failing, and document finalisation is failing across all signature types. Unaffected: Signing via AdES, itsme QES, and SES continues to function as expected. Our team is actively working to resolve the issue and will provide updates as new information becomes available.
