What's happening Fraudsters are increasingly attacking USPS by creating counterfeit, unpaid shipping labels — a scheme known as Mailer ID (MID) fraud. This is a growing industry-wide USPS issue affecting all shipping platforms, not specific to us or your account security. As a result, some customers may see tracking updates showing delivery to an unfamiliar address. In most cases, your package will still arrive as expected. What to do - If your tracking shows an incorrect delivery address, please contact Customer Support. - If you were charged a clearly incorrect shipping adjustment, please contact us as well. We are aware that some sellers experienced USPS rejecting Mercari prepaid shipping labels as "unpaid postage" earlier today (August 14). This is a USPS-side issue. USPS has applied a temporary fix, if your label wasrejected, please try dropping off your package again. It should now be accepted.
