Housecall Pro Outage History

We are experiencing infrastructure instability affecting multiple services across our website. Users may encounter intermittent errors, slower response times, or temporary service disruptions. We are actively investigating and working to restore normal service. We’ll provide additional updates as more information becomes available.

We identified an issue affecting our CSR AI voice assistant that some calls were not being handled correctly, resulting in incomplete call experiences.

We are working with our partner to resolve. In the interim we are going to route calls to our HCP Assist.

We are still investigating but there calls are being handled by our HCP Assist team.

We have verified the root cause and a fix in our staging environment. We will deploy the change to production in the next 30 mins. Once validated we will begin to shift traffic back to CSR AI.

We have identified a service disruption affecting our CSR AI voice features due to an outage with a third-party upstream provider. Non-AI CSR functionality is not impacted. We are actively monitoring the situation with our vendor and will provide updates as more information becomes available.

We are currently experiencing a problem with a 3rd-part integration with Amplitude which controls certain user interface experiences across our web and mobile applications. We are seeing recovery in the 3rd-party integration and we are monitoring the system's recovery to normal operations.

We have observed a recovery in the services of our 3rd-party integration. Issues in the user interfaces for HCP Pro Web, iOS Mobile App, and Andriod Mobile App should be back to normal at this point in time.

Between (6:33 AM – 6:53 AM MT) on October 24, Housecall Pro experienced a 20-minute service outage that affected access for some users. The issue was caused by a database update that temporarily impacted system availability. Our engineering team quickly identified the cause, restored service, and verified full system stability shortly after. We’ve implemented additional safeguards in our release process to prevent similar incidents in the future.

We are investigating persisting issues involving the AWS US-East-1 Outage impacting Twilio's Voice and Text services.

Some users experienced a starter state for chat when they should have been able to use chat functionality. We have identified the root cause and are seeing some improvments.

Google Cloud is experiencing degraded performance with its API, which powers some of our AI features. You may see error messages, experience latency, or encounter other unexpected behavior when using AI functionality in Housecall Pro. OpenAI is working diligently to resolve the issue.
