We are actively managing an incident affecting access and performance across People First. Some users are unable to log in or are seeing errors and incomplete page loads, primarily impacting Approvals, Payroll, Case Management and NM. We are currently working on a fix to reduce the impact of high load on these services as well as mitigations to recover performance at this time.
- monitoring Mar 11, 2026, 12:14 PM UTC
We have temporarily disabled the Approvals service in UK Production as part of our ongoing incident mitigation. This service was generating high volumes of requests, contributing to platform instability and access issues. Impact: Users are currently unable to action Employee Change Requests. Authority to Recruit workflows cannot be completed. Other areas of the platform should see improved stability as a result of this action. Our Engineering teams are developing a hot fix to resolve the ongoing issues within the Approvals service, which will allow us to restore full functionality as soon as it is validated. We will provide further updates as work progresses.
- monitoring Mar 11, 2026, 01:36 PM UTC
We have successfully tested and validated a fix for the Approvals service and this fix has now been deployed to UK Production. The previous disabled functionality is now available again. We will be monitoring system performance throughout the afternoon to ensure stability and confirm that the update resolves the issues previously experienced. Fallback Plan: If elevated errors or performance issues return, we may temporarily disable the Approvals service again to protect overall platform stability. Further updates will be provided as monitoring continues.
