We have identified an issue with Interac transactions failing for certain card issuers which is resulting in uncompleted transactions in the Cova POS. Some of these failures appear to be resulting in a draft of funds from the customers bank account. We are only seeing this with a subset of Interact cards and NO impact to standard credit card transactions. We are awaiting further updates and timelines to resolution from our processor, but in the meantime we suggest either not accepting Interac, or if an Interac payment fails, to NOT reattempt the transaction. Please note this only impacts Cova Pay Canada and any customers using a 3rd party service should check with their provider to understand if there is any degradation to their services. Hello, Cova Support is receiving calls in the US regarding clients not being able to login. We have investigated this issue and found that it is due to a regional internet outage. If you are experiencing this issue, you can update your WiFi to connect to a mobile internet hotspot which, will allow you to continue sales as normal. If you do not have a mobile hotspot available, you can turn WiFi off on your tablets and use Cova in Offline Mode. We will continue to monitor the outage and provide updates as we can. Hello, The regional internet outage in the US appears to have been resolved by the provider. You should be able to use your WiFi connection instead of a hotspot and/or reconnect to the internet to allow sales made in Offline Mode to process. Please feel free to reach out to our support team should you need additional assistance. Thank you!

Hello Cova Customers, Due to a Google Cloud outage, certain services on the POS tablets will not function as expected. *The order notification "ding" will not sound. *Inventory, promotions, and pricing will not update automatically. *Refreshing the tablet manually will force an update and pricing and inventory will update. Please note that sales, traceability and other POS functionality will not be impacted. We will provide updates as we have an understanding when the Google Cloud outage is resolved. Thank you, Cova Support Team
