    Virtru Collaborate is down. When users attempt to access the Workspaces page, it never fully loads. Our team has identified the root cause and is working to deploy a fix as soon as possible. Virtru Secure Share functionality is not impacted. We will provide another update as soon as we have one.

    We have recieved reports of some Secure Reader users erroneously getting a message that states "You are not authorized to view this file." The issue only impacts some Secure Reader users. No other Virtru product or service is currently impacted. Our Engineering team is actively investigating the issue. We will provide another update as soon as we have one.

    We are continuing to investigate the issue. We are unable to reproduce the issue in our internal testing. Imapcted users should reach out to Virtru Customer Support (support.virtru.com) so we can work with them to collect logs.

    Any impacted users should attempt to re-verify and should be able to access their secure message. If the issue persists, have the user clear their cache and start the verification process from scratch. We continue to investigate other potential fixes that can be deployed.

    After additional analysis, we have determined that this is a bug affecting a small subset of users and not a wide-spread incident. We are working on a fix that we plan to deploy in a regularly scheduled release in the near future. As a result, we are closing out this incident on the Status Page. In the meantime, affected users can follow these steps to resolve the issue: 1. Click their email address in the top right corner 2. Select "Sign out" 3.     We've recieved some reports of users being unable to login to the Virtru Control Center. Impacted users get stuck in a login loop and end up back on the login page even after successfully authenticating. The issue is only present when logging into the Control Center and is not impacting all users. If you are impacted, please clear your cache and try again. That has resolved the issue for some users. Our team is working to implement a fix. We will provide another update as soon as we have one.

    Outlook and Hotmail users are unable to authenticate in Secure Reader and Secure Share. Google and O365 activation flows are working as expected. The issue appears to be isolated to Outlook related authentication flows in Secure Reader and Secure Share. We are actively investigating the issue and will provide another update as soon as possible. Impacted users should attempt to authenticate via a different method, such as a one-time verification link or code.

    At around 2:10pm ET, we started seeing an increase in bounces for automated emails (verification emails, activation emails, Secure Share emails). These seem to be tied to an active Microsoft incident (https://status.cloud.microsoft/). Virtru is fully up and available, but Microsoft users and recipients might have issues tied to the incident. We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates here.

    Microsoft is experiencing an outage that is impacting Outlook OWA (and possibly Desktop). Users are reporting intermittent issues accessing OWA. The outage seems to also prevent all Add-ins (including Virtru) from loading. As a result of this upstream issue with Microsoft, users may be unable to access Virtru in Outlook. No other Virtru products are impacted at this time. We are closely monitoring the situation.

    There was a large AWS outage earlier this morning. Most Virtru services remained active during the outage, but we did notice slightly higher error rates across some services, such as searching users in the Control Center. AWS has deployed patches and seems to be coming back online. We continue to closely monitor the situation. If you experienced issues with Virtru earlier today, please try again.     Between 1:00pm and 3:30pm ET, our Hosted Gateway was seeing delays on a subset of messages. Most emails were delivered successfully, but a small number did bounce. The issue has since been resolved, and users can retry delivery on any bounced messages.
