"Internal Server Errors" when attempting to login to or navigate with Alta Access Portal

Major

Resolved after 1 day 5 hours, affecting Avigilon Alta Access (Formerly Openpath) (Alta Access (Openpath) Control Center - US) and Avigilon Alta Access (Formerly Openpath) (Alta Access (Openpath) Control Center - Rest of World), on July 20, 2026.

resolved Jul 21, 2026, 10:22 PM UTC

The problem was caused by an unusual spike in external API calls that overloaded a backend database. This led initially to an API slow down that grew into an API outage. We've optimized database performance and will further rate limit external APIs.
