    ### Impact Malware/Virus checks running on the new monitoring system fail with a missing-API-key error and don’t actually check anything. ### Cause Our app misroutes malware checks. It sends them to the new system as generic checks instead of malware checks. They then run in a general-purpose runtime that doesn’t have the threat-lookup API keys. The malware check service, which does have those keys, never receives them. ### Fix A routing fix is on the way. Once it’s deployed, existing checks will be updated within 2 hours.
