New ChatGPT App Not Available For Enterprise Users Without Codex Permissions
Resolved after 16 hours 51 minutes, affecting Codex in ChatGPT Desktop, on July 17, 2026.
We have identified that this issue has recurred for some Enterprise users. We are working to resolve this.

Users who do not have Codex RBAC enabled, are getting the "codex_cli_workspace_disabled" error when trying to log into the new ChatGPT app post-install. We are working on implementing a fix. Please use our ChatGPT Classic as we are working on a fix.
