Those who anticipate needing higher usage needs for learning, coursework, and research can request an increase through their Claude settings. The university will review and will ask for details about specific use cases. For many tasks, using Sonnet or another more economical model can provide strong results while allowing your usage to stretch further and reducing the likelihood of hitting limits.
