Today at 12:27pm CT there was a brief impairment on one side of the fiber ring between Omaha and Lincoln. This caused all traffic between Omaha and Lincoln to reroute through redundant connections. At 12:40pm CT our backbone network performed an automatic reversion which caused traffic to reroute again. End users may have seen slight delays or packet loss as traffic rerouted.
