We experienced an outage related to file and media access in Litium’s Serverless Cloud environment. The issue caused some media files (such as product images) to fail loading or display incorrectly, and features dependent on this storage layer (for example, CLI operations) were also affected. Other parts of the platform continued to operate normally. The problem was traced to an issue within the storage layer, and a fix was implemented. Services began recovering shortly after, and the incident was confirmed fully resolved later the same day. No data was lost. Litium continues to monitor the systems to ensure ongoing stability.

Our infrastructure provider will perform urgent maintenance on their core networking systems today at 14:30 CEST to 15:30 CEST to resolve an issue they identified earlier. The impact is expected to be limited and shouldn't cause downtime, but it must be done to not have further degradation of performance. Unfortunately, we were only just informed of this activity, and we sincerely apologize for the short notice. While this maintenance is outside our direct control, it may cause packet loss and connectivity issues for our services during the window.

At 13:23 CET, our monitoring systems detected a brief service interruption where some customer sites reported increased response time. While services appeared to recover quickly, our engineering team initiated a thorough investigation to ensure platform stability. During the investigation, we identified irregularities in the orchestration layer and control components, which required corrective actions. These actions included restarting affected nodes and renewing internal certificates to restore full functionality. While restarts was made interruptions and connection issues was reported. By 17:30 CET, all systems were confirmed operational, and additional validation was performed to ensure service reliability for all customers. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Further actions: The underlying cause of this incident is already mitigated in our new Compliant Cloud. The migration is started and will continue as planed.

Incident Summary This morning, a small number of customers experienced a short period of downtime for their Litium applications hosted in Serverless Cloud. Timeline - 15 September 2025, 15:20 – An incorrect configuration was introduced during a routine update. - 17 September 2025, morning (UTC) - Automatic scaling moved some customers to new underlaying infrastructure. This caused a limited set of applications to restart and become unavailable. - 17 September 2025, 10.00-11:45 - Services were automatically restored after configuration was corrected. Only environments that had not been restarted since 11 September 2025 were affected. Impact The downtime affected a small portion of customers. Services were automatically restored after configuration was corrected. Next Steps We have adjusted our update process to ensure that similar configuration issues do not cause interruptions in the future.
