Update timeline

  1. investigating Mar 24, 2026, 05:55 PM UTC

We are currently investigating intermittent delays and failures in delivering messages through Microsoft Teams. Some recognition shoutouts and other notifications may be delayed or temporarily not appear in your Teams channels. This issue is related to connectivity disruptions with Microsoft's Bot Framework service infrastructure. Microsoft's own service health dashboard does not currently reflect a reported incident, but we are seeing elevated error rates on their endpoints affecting message delivery.

  2. identified Mar 24, 2026, 07:13 PM UTC

We have identified the root cause of this issue. Microsoft's Bot Framework connector service (smba.trafficmanager.net) is experiencing a widespread outage affecting message delivery for Teams bots. The issue is on Microsoft's infrastructure side and is not related to HiThrive's systems. All recognition activity, rewards, and data within HiThrive continue to function normally — only the delivery of notifications to Microsoft Teams channels is affected. No action is required on your end.

  3. monitoring Mar 24, 2026, 07:51 PM UTC

We're seeing error rates drop and messaging successfully posting to Microsoft Teams again. We'll continue to monitor our integration.

  4. resolved Mar 25, 2026, 12:58 PM UTC

    This incident has been resolved.
