The Met Office has extended the red warning for extreme heat to Friday 26 June across large parts of London and the South East. Amber warnings are also currently in place across parts of the East of England, East and West Midlands, North West, London, the South East, and South Yorkshire through to Saturday. Potential impact to work Due to forecast high temperatures, BT will continue with the operational adjustments to help protect the wellbeing of their engineers. • Some appointments may take place up to one hour earlier or later than the scheduled time slot. This flexibility will allow our engineers to work during cooler parts of the day where possible. • BT may also need to proactively reschedule some appointments, particularly in red weather warning areas. We’ll keep this under continuous review and will communicate directly with affected customers if any changes are required. • As a result of these measures, we anticipate that missed appointment or on-time delivery performance may be slightly impacted. BT are not currently declaring MBORC. However, they are closely monitoring the situation.
