We have implemented a change to direct users to Microsoft's Outlook on the web service, and Microsoft has also applied a fix to address the underlying issue. The service is now operating normally.

Microsoft has confirmed an issue affecting access to Outlook on the web through certain web addresses. To help avoid this issue, we have updated mail.cardiff.ac.uk so that it now redirects to Microsoft's recommended Outlook web address. Microsoft has implemented a fix and is continuing to monitor the service.
