Information Technology Services (ITS) is reporting a fiber break affecting network access on the span from Kennesaw State University - Marietta Campus (SCT) to Georgia Highlands College - Bartow Center (GHBC). Technicians are currently working to resolve this issue. Additional information will be posted here when it becomes available.

An issue has been identified near high voltage lines in Taylorsville for the GHBC-SCT fiber cut. They are currently awaiting an excavator (ETA 1 hour). There is no ETR at this time.

The splicing team has determined that the damage is located approximately 12 feet underground. The splice crew may require a larger excavator and a shoring box. Work continues to access the damaged cable. No ETR at this time.
