Network Support Services (NSS) is reporting a multi-site DOE outage affecting the following Windstream last-mile locations. ENA has been notified, and we are currently working with vendors to investigate the cause. There is no ETR at this time. Updates will be provided when possible. Sites Affected: -Pataula Charter -Terrell County -Southwest Georgia STEM

This issue has been related to a higher-level issue inside the Windstream network, and engineers are working to coordinate with teams as needed to restore connectivity as quickly as possible.

Windstream field crews dispatched to an upstream location and replaced the optical transceiver to restore connectivity. The sites are online, but they appear to be bouncing intermittently. ENA remains engaged with Windstream to ensure the services stabilize.

The outage you experienced was previously resolved. The issue was caused by damage to a buried fiber cable in the Taylorsville/Kingston, GA area, which led to multiple alarms and service disruptions. Repairs were completed, and services were fully restored on September 5, 2025, at approximately 9:38 PM ET.
