Sites Affected: -Pataula Charter -Terrell County -Southwest Georgia STEM

  2. identified Sep 04, 2025, 07:02 PM UTC

This issue has been related to a higher-level issue inside the Windstream network, and engineers are working to coordinate with teams as needed to restore connectivity as quickly as possible.

  3. monitoring Sep 05, 2025, 01:18 PM UTC

Windstream field crews dispatched to an upstream location and replaced the optical transceiver to restore connectivity. The sites are online, but they appear to be bouncing intermittently. ENA remains engaged with Windstream to ensure the services stabilize.

  4. resolved Sep 08, 2025, 12:55 PM UTC

The outage you experienced was previously resolved. The issue was caused by damage to a buried fiber cable in the Taylorsville/Kingston, GA area, which led to multiple alarms and service disruptions. Repairs were completed, and services were fully restored on September 5, 2025, at approximately 9:38 PM ET.
