  1. investigating May 07, 2026, 09:14 AM UTC

For the few customers using our experimental metrics rules to control who can see uptime on the status page, we have added a new preconfigured "Team" audience that lets you easily limit visibility to people on your team, without needing to build a custom rule that matches by email addresses or domains. This is also part of the foundation work we're building for our new notice archiving feature.

  1. investigating May 06, 2026, 09:03 AM UTC

We've just released some improvements to the way that a notice's position in the timeline is calculated. (future, present, past) This has no outward impact on customers, but does gain us a slight performance improvement. The main motivation however is laying the groundwork for an upcoming feature that allows you to archive old notices. Watch this space.

Major August 3, 2026 Management UI performance issues 1h 8m

Started Aug 03, 2026, 02:55 PM UTC· resolved Aug 03, 2026, 04:03 PM UTC

  1. investigating Aug 03, 2026, 03:16 PM UTC

We’re currently monitoring the service to ensure it remains stable. The cause of the deployment failure will be analysed as part of our internal post-incident review.

  2. resolved Aug 03, 2026, 04:03 PM UTC

The management UI has remained stable, and this incident is now resolved. Thank you for your patience while we worked to restore normal service

Major July 22, 2026 New: Quick-create buttons for every notice type 18h 43m

Started Jul 22, 2026, 12:07 AM UTC· resolved Jul 22, 2026, 06:50 PM UTC

  1. investigating Apr 24, 2026, 03:50 PM UTC

We've redesigned how you create notices from the dashboard to make it faster to post the right type of update. The "New Notice" button in the navigation bar now includes a dropdown menu that lets you jump straight into creating a specific notice type — **Incident**, **Maintenance**, **Historic**, or **General** — with the form pre-filled to the right settings. Previously, shortcuts for creating notices were tucked inside the timeline sections on the notices page. This new approach puts them all in one consistent place, always accessible regardless of which page you're on. The primary button still works exactly as before — click it to open the notice form and choose your type from there.

Major July 20, 2026 General Notices Now Available on the Status API 10h 39m

Started Jul 20, 2026, 12:16 AM UTC· resolved Jul 20, 2026, 10:55 AM UTC

  1. investigating Apr 21, 2026, 08:31 AM UTC

If you're using general notices to share updates with your users, those notices are now included in your Status API responses. General notices will appear alongside your existing planned and unplanned notices when listing notices via `/api/v1/notices`, and can be retrieved individually via `/api/v1/notices/:id`. You can also filter for them specifically using `?filter[type_eq]=general`. Since general notices don't have a lifecycle like incidents or maintenances, their API payload is a little leaner — fields like `state`, `began_at`, and `ended_at` are omitted. Full details are available on the API documentation tab of your status page.

Major June 4, 2026 Email by Sorry delivery delays 1h 45m

Started Jun 04, 2026, 09:50 PM UTC· resolved Jun 04, 2026, 11:35 PM UTC

  1. resolved Jun 05, 2026, 07:55 AM UTC

Between **21:50 and 23:35 UTC**, lasting approximately **1 hour and 45 minutes**, some emails sent through **Email by Sorry** were delayed. During this short window, some Sorry customers may have seen delays in emails being received by their subscribers. This included: - subscription confirmation emails - subscription magic links - incident notice notifications Customers using other email providers connected to Sorry, were not affected. The delays were caused by an issue with **Postmark**, the email delivery provider used by Email by Sorry. While the issue was outside of Sorry’s infrastructure, the impact was that some emails sent via Email by Sorry were delivered later than expected. Once Postmark resolved the issue, delayed messages were delivered and email delivery returned to normal. No customer action is required. We’re sorry that these emails arrived late. We know that delayed confirmation emails, magic links, and incident notifications are frustrating for both you and your subscribers, especially when people are expecting them to arrive right away. Further details are available on [Postmark's status page](https://status.postmarkapp.com/notices/cjagqohtofnqt9ts-email-sending-delays).

Values now consistently align to the left across all tiles. - Renamed the "Notices" tile to "Notices Created" to make it clear the count reflects notices created within the last 30 days.

Major May 20, 2026 Performance Fix - Uptime Summaries 103d 17h

Started May 20, 2026, 04:09 PM UTC· resolved Sep 01, 2026, 09:52 AM UTC

  1. investigating May 20, 2026, 04:09 PM UTC

Starting on May 12th, following the [release of our notice archiving feature](https://status.sorryapp.com/notices/ka9bfnq7spwssppy-automatic-notice-archiving) we saw a slow-down in the performance of uptime calculations - this was introduced by a change in the calculation that conditionally included archived notices based on who was viewing the status page. This was primarily impacting requests on the Status API, and likely wasn't noticeable to everyday users. We have now fixed the issue, so performance has returned to it's usual speed.

Major May 20, 2026 Your Team Is Now Automatically Subscribed to Your Status Pages 9h 46m

Started May 20, 2026, 12:04 AM UTC· resolved May 20, 2026, 09:51 AM UTC

  1. investigating Mar 03, 2026, 11:05 AM UTC

We're excited to announce **automatic team member subscriptions** — a feature that makes it effortless for your team to stay in the loop. Every member of your team is now automatically subscribed to your status pages. No more manually adding colleagues as subscribers, and no more worrying about someone missing an important incident update. When new team members join, they're subscribed automatically. If their email changes, their subscriber record updates to match. There's nothing to configure — it just works. You'll also notice that the **View Status Page** button now signs you in automatically, giving you instant authenticated access without a separate login. Team member subscribers are clearly labeled throughout your dashboard so you can always tell them apart from external subscribers at a glance. And don't worry — they won't count toward your plan's subscriber limit. We built this because your team should never be the last to know about an incident on your own status page. We hope you love it!

Major May 12, 2026 Safer Deletion for Status Pages 13h 42m

Started May 12, 2026, 12:03 AM UTC· resolved May 12, 2026, 01:46 PM UTC

  1. investigating Feb 12, 2026, 11:49 AM UTC

We have added a 24-hour cooling-off period when deleting established status pages. Previously, deleting a status page was instant and irreversible. Now, when you delete a page that has built up subscribers and incident history, the deletion will be scheduled rather than happening immediately. Smaller or newly created pages will continue to be deleted straight away, so this will not slow you down during initial setup. This applies to standalone pages, collections, and individual pages within a collection.
