Resolved after 2 hours 57 minutes, affecting Expense, on March 13, 2025.
Impact as Reported: In the Concur Cloud for Public Sector (CCPS) Data Center, creating and submitting expense reports through the SAP Concur website is currently unavailable. Affected users may encounter the error message, “Sorry, but something went wrong with this task. Try refreshing the page, or sign out and sign in again” when attempting to click the "Create New Report" button. As a workaround, users can use the SAP Concur mobile app to create and submit expense reports. Root cause: Human error during a routine maintenance operation on the container hosting infrastructure caused a cluster serving the Concur expense application to become unavailable. While the cluster was promptly restored by the engineer performing the maintenance, service unexpectedly remained degraded until after an overall restart of the application stack was performed. While the incident response team has a clear understanding of the issue triggering the incident and preventive actions are being put in place, investigation is in progress to understand why restoring the cluster did not immediately lead to services returning to normal; furhter findings and action items will be posted once available. Corrective Actions: The automation used for these type of maintenance activities is being revised to eliminate remaining manual steps and remove the possibility of human error during execution.
