We have identified and resolved a functional disruption that affected air travel searches through the Galileo Global Distribution System (GDS) in the US2, EU2, and APJ1 Data Centers. Legacy Concur Travel customers received the error, “We’re Sorry…We encountered an issue that prevented us from completing your request.” after selecting Search. The issue affected flight searches across all city pairs and travel dates, preventing users from searching for and booking flights. Car and Hotel searches were not affected. Unfortunately, no workaround was available during the period of impact. As the Incident Response Team (IRT) was being assembled, the services self-recovered and functionality was restored. Further investigation confirmed that the issue was related to a network issue involving the third-party vendor. We have verified that service performance is stable and will now resolve this incident. An investigation into the root cause of this incident will now be conducted, and a root cause analysis report provided when that investigation is complete.
