  1. monitoring Sep 16, 2025, 03:57 PM UTC

We are currently experiencing increased call volume related to a pop-up notification appearing within QuickBooks. This message informs users of Microsoft’s upcoming end of support for Windows 10 on October 14, 2025. Please note that this notification is sent directly by Intuit to all QuickBooks users globally. It is not generated or controlled by Rightworks. The pop-up does not affect your hosted desktop experience with Rightworks. However, after October 14, if you are still using Windows 10 locally, this can create security vulnerabilities and impact your ability to log into Rightworks. We recommend speaking with your local IT administrator(s) to plan an upgrade to Windows 11.

  2. monitoring Sep 17, 2025, 12:44 PM UTC

We are continuing to monitor this. Please note that this pop-up is file-specific and can be easily turned off by going to Edit > Preferences > General > My Preferences, then ticking the box to turn off pop-up messages for products and services. Please note that this will disable all pop-up messages, which may include other important updates from Intuit.
