We are aware of an issue affecting some customers making POLi Payments from Kiwibank accounts. Kiwibank's internet banking page is currently failing to load for some users, which may prevent affected customers from completing their POLi payment. We have escalated the issue to Kiwibank and are working with them to understand the cause and restore normal service as quickly as possible. At this stage, the issue appears to be impacting only some customers. We will provide further updates as soon as more information becomes available. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience.

We are aware of an issue affecting payments within the ASB Mobile App for customers using version 26.08.0 on iOS/iPhone devices. Reports indicate that payment transactions may fail when initiated through the mobile app. QR code desktop payments are operating normally and are not affected. The issue appears to be isolated to the latest iOS version of the ASB Mobile App. We have escalated this to the ASB support team and are working closely with them to investigate and identify the cause. We will provide further updates as more information becomes available. Impact: Payment transactions may fail when using ASB Mobile App version 26.08.0 on iOS/iPhone devices. Status: Investigating with ASB.
Note from ASB: The fix for this issue has now been deployed. Please note that it can take some time for app updates to become available through the Apple App Store. As a result, customers may not see the updated version immediately. Once the update becomes available and is installed, the issue should be resolved. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we worked to address this issue.
ANZ is currently investigating this Open Banking issue. Classic POLi "Pay by Bank" ANZ transactions are not impacted and continue to operate as normal.

BNZ is currently experiencing a partial outage impacting Internet Banking, Open Banking, and the BNZ mobile application (iOS and Android). BNZ is investigating the issue. During this time, BNZ may be displayed as "Temporarily Unavailable" in the POLi bank selection list. Further updates will be provided as BNZ shares additional information.

Some merchants have reported that funds have settled for transactions marked with a terminal state of ‘known issue’. Please review any affected transactions that occurred during the impacted period and determine if a refund to the customer is required. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. The cause has been identified, and we are working with ASB to prevent this from happening again. Note: there has been no impact with Westpac Open Banking transactions or any other NZ banks. Impacted period: Saturday, 20 September, 11:00 PM NZT – Sunday, 21 September, 3:00 AM NZT.
