Crypto withdrawal fee quote requests are succeeding again. We are monitoring for further errors and confirming that delayed withdrawals finish processing.
This issue is resolved. Fee quote requests returned HTTP 500 errors from 18:38:47 to 18:39:51 UTC on September 24, 2026. The delayed withdrawals have completed. Customers who received a fee quote error can retry their request.

We identified an issue with internal blockchain event processing that caused a subset of deposits to be missed by our normal processing workflow. We are rolling back the associated change and preparing to reprocess the affected blockchain ranges.

We are currently investigating delays affecting crypto deposits and withdrawals across multiple blockchain networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin. During this time, affected deposits and withdrawals may take longer than usual to process. Trading and USD (fiat) services are not affected. We have identified the cause as degraded performance from a third-party blockchain infrastructure provider, which is intermittently affecting our ability to read from and broadcast to the impacted networks. As a result, some crypto deposits and withdrawals on these networks may be delayed. No funds are at risk, and affected transactions remain queued and will process once upstream connectivity is fully restored. We are monitoring the provider's recovery and working to return processing to normal.

The Base blockchain is currently experiencing a network-wide stall affecting all activity on the network. As a result, deposits and withdrawals on Base are delayed while the network is unable to confirm transactions. This is an issue with the Base network itself and is not specific to Paxos; all other blockchains are operating normally and customer funds are not affected. Transactions on Base will resume processing automatically once the network recovers. No action is required on your part. We are monitoring the situation closely and will provide updates as it progresses.
The Base network stall has been resolved and the network is producing blocks normally again. Paxos has resumed processing deposits and withdrawals on Base, and any transactions that were delayed during the disruption are now being worked through. Customer funds were not affected at any point.
