We were notified of a security incident involving our integrations provider, Composio, in which user credentials may have been accessed for third-party integrations in our Slack Agent and Workflows product. As a precaution, we are proactively rotating all affected customer credentials and will reach out directly to every impacted customer shortly. Note: GitHub and GitLab integrations were never exposed to Composio. These are handled in-house and remain secure.

While we have terminated our existing integrations with Composio, we have been in contact with the Composio team and are actively exploring alternatives and improvements to securely reintroduce this functionality to parts of the Mintlify platform.

We are working to determine the impact of this event to Mintlify and proactively performing a rotation of all secrets and credentials. At this point, through both internal investigation and communications from Vercel, we currently have no evidence that Mintlify or Mintlify customers were affected by this event. We will continue to investigate and post updates as new information becomes available.

We have reviewed our audit logs for Vercel and other critical systems, and have not identified any suspicious behavior from any sources. We are continuing a complete credential rotation on any potentially affected systems. Additionally, as new evidence has come to light, including indications of compromise, we are reviewing third party integrations used in our organization for any evidence, of compromise, and have found nothing thus far. The Mintlify team has confirmed that no suspicious or unexpected actions were taken against any Mintlify services or infrastructure that would indicate Mintlify was affected by Vercel's ongoing incident, and have taken steps to ensure no compromise could have occurred directly on Mintlify's own infrastructure. A search outage affected all Mintlify-powered sites after our upstream search provider executed a migration on our search indices. The migration rendered existing indices unavailable, causing search functionality to return errors or no results across all customer sites. The incident was resolved by failing over to backup indices. This migration caused the primary indices to become unavailable, which in turn broke search queries across all Mintlify sites. Resolution Within approximately 10 minutes of detecting the incident, the team initiated a failover to pre-existing backup indices. Once the migration to backup indices completed, full search functionality was restored.

From 12:04 to 12:09 PDT, most docs sites experienced either a partial or total outage when attempting to view pages. We caught the issue internally immediately, and were able to roll back code for all affected sites within minutes. This was caused by incorrect debug code pushed by one of our developers. No further action is required on our customers' part to resolve the issue.
