Gateway downtime for network updates

   Fat Zebra have been informed by our hosting provider that network infrastructure updates are urgently required which will impact our connectivity for a period of up to 15 minutes. This will mean that all connectivity to services such as the Gateway, the Merchant Dashboard, the Hosted Payment Page and other systems hosted within this network will be unavailable while the infrastructure change is being performed. To minimise impact to our merchants we have arranged for this work to be performed during a period where transaction volumes are low (between 2am and 3am) and we will be switching the gateway into maintenance mode 2 minutes prior to the change being made to ensure there are no in-flight transactions affected. A 1 hour window has been provided to allow for sufficient time to roll back the changes, however the overall downtime should not be any longer them 15 minutes. Fat Zebra will have a staff member on site to assist should there be any issues completing or reverting the change, and once the change is completed the Gateway will be taken out of maintenance mode. We will communicate the progress of this change during and before the window so that merchants impacted during this time are kept informed.
