Update - unfortunately it looks like we are going to have to drop the current request+response log collection and recreate it. Apologies for the inconvenience. Note that error logs, security logs, etc. are unaffected by this.

The issue seems to be centered around database operations - potentially around some heavy re-balancing that is happening. We are adding increased database CPU and have tighted the balancer window to stop balancing at this time. Response times are now recovering.

brainCloud was impacted by issues in AWS region us-east-1. These resulted in difficulties accessing AWS services - particularly initiating cloudfront-based file downloads - and launching of new hosted servers on AWS EC2. These same AWS issues impacted other services that brainCloud uses as well - including StatusPage (this page where we post health updates) - and Intercom (which we use for support chat). AWS resolved the issue around 5:30am Eastern.

The team investigated and resolved an issue that had caused scheduled cloud code jobs not to run as scheduled. All outstanding jobs have now been run. An investigation is happening to determine the root cause and prevent it from happening again in the future. Apologies for the inconvenience.

The issue has been identified and addressed. A customer error caused a condition that overran some job-related services. A full analysis will be done to put additional safeguards in place to prevent this in the future.
