- postmortem Aug 04, 2025, 02:44 PM UTC
Now that our investigation of the incident is complete, we would like to share more detailed information on what happened. **The summary from July, 24th** Between 10.20am and 1:00pm CET users experienced the order of news channels couldn't be edited anymore. Previous custom orders were undone. The team fixed the issue by updating the sorting order functionality to work accordingly. **What happened** A recent change in the code caused the issue that sorting was not taken into account accordingly. **Impact** The order of channels was not displayed in the regular sorting order. Searching for the channel names was still working. Users with editing permissions were still able to view channels and set up new news posts. Channel orders have been restored back to normal after the issue had been solved. **Future Improvements** We know how important it is for you that the platform is accessible at all times. Ensuring reliable performance is, therefore, our highest priority. We will focus on improving our internal review processes and do our best to avoid such incidents in the future. Please contact us at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) if you have any further questions regarding this topic or if any feature is still impacted against expectations.
