    We are currently experiencing an issue affecting the Smartcar Developer Dashboard Overview page, which is preventing several Overview widgets from loading as expected. What’s affected: Several Overview page widgets are currently unable to load, including Connected vehicles, Active vehicles, Net new connections, API requests over time, and Top 5 makes.     We are currently investigating intermittent authentication errors. In some cases, newly issued access tokens may be rejected immediately after creation. Retrying the request shortly after should succeed.

    The recent authentication errors were caused by data optimizations deployed yesterday as part of our ongoing efforts to improve platform performance. To mitigate the impact, we implemented several fixes, including temporary safeguards and additional changes to further stabilize the platform. Since releasing today’s fixes, we’ve seen a significant drop in error rates, and they continue to decline. We’ll continue to monitor closely throughout the weekend, and next week we plan to roll out a more permanent solution to ensure long-term stability.

    Earlier today, we deployed a change to Smartcar Connect that unintentionally introduced a bug, causing some vehicle owners to experience connection failures when attempting to link their vehicles between 11:45 AM and 12:45 PM PDT. Users that encountered this issue received an error message stating "500: vehiclesRequiringAdditionalActions.includes is not a function". The issue was identified and resolved with a fix deployed at approximately 12:43 PM PDT. The issue has been fully resolved, and affected users should now be able to connect their vehicles successfully. If you're still experiencing issues, we recommend trying the connection process again. We apologize for the disruption and are implementing additional safeguards to prevent similar issues in the future.

    Smartcar API service had a downtime from 2/26/2025 04:32:00 PM PST - 04:50:00 PM PST for a total of 18 minutes of service impact. During this time API service experience a partial outage. A small portion of our incoming request were being serviced. The partial outage was caused by a bad code merge in API. This lead to a out memory error for our containers.
