SafetyChain Mobile App v1.16 Critical Bug on DateTime and Time Fields
Resolved after 31 minutes, affecting Mobile / Windows App, on October 31, 2024.
To resolve this issue, SafetyChain App version 1.17 for Android has been released and is now available in the Google Play Store. This is the functional equivalent of version 1.15 for Android. Apple users will remain on version 1.15 of the iOS app.

Our development team has found a critical error in version 1.16 of the Android SafetyChain App. “DateTime” and “Time” fields in records are showing an incorrect conversion due to UTC and local device time zones. Android users are advised to use the M2 SafetyChain application while we fix this bug. If you are an iOS user, you can disregard this message as version 1.16 will not be deployed on Apple devices.
