Storm Austen: Response Centre Service Update and Preparedness Measures

Ahead of storm Austen this weekend, we wanted to provide an update on the preparations being made within the Response Centre. Storm Austen is expected to bring heavy rainfall, strong winds and an increased risk of flooding. We are anticipating that this may result in increased call volumes across our services. We have been proactively reviewing our staffing arrangements and have made additional overtime available to increase available resource. Throughout the weekend, our management team will also be closely monitoring call volumes, queue performance and available capacity, allowing us to respond to changing demand and prioritise service accordingly. Although periods of exceptionally high demand may result in some increased wait times, every effort will be made to maintain an efficient and responsive service for our customers.
