    Update -- SMS Delivery for US Customers The majority of affected SMS notifications have been restored. Early this morning, we rerouted traffic through a backup telephony provider after a carrier-side interruption affected delivery on one of our primary provider's numbers. A small number of residual delivery failures remain, affecting a limited subset of notifications. A fix is planned and we expect these to be resolved today. We'll update this page when fully resolved. We apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience.

    On June 17, our shared Canadian SMS short code was temporarily suspended following a carrier compliance review, which interrupted SMS delivery notifications for Canadian recipients. We rerouted traffic through an alternate provider the same afternoon to restore notifications, and fully restored driver-to-recipient messaging the following day. The compliance review has since concluded with no penalties, the short code has been reinstated, and all service is operating normally. We apologize for the disruption. We rolled back the release at 11:58 AM PDT and confirmed full system stability by 12:13 PM PDT. Because of how batch creations are processed, this prevented other jobs from being processed until they were cleared manually. Once the job was manually stopped, the system returned to normal batch processing. The team will implement enhanced monitoring to avoid this scenario in the future.
