The vendor identified equipment impacted by a recent power failure. After restoring power, the equipment failed to initialize successfully, and a continued power issue is suspected. Troubleshooting efforts are ongoing.

Fortiguard is currently experiencing an issue with one of their DNS Servers which may be causing issues with internet traffic and content filtering. We are working on a resolution at this time. Lumen crews isolated a broken fiber in a buried handhole. The fiber was repaired, thus restoring impacted services to a stable state. Validations were performed confirming all associated alarms are clear and services have returned to a stable state. MOREnet NOC

A Level 2 escalation has been initiated with the partner provider to obtain an update on fiber fault isolation and progress toward repair.
Splice crews are onsite, and teams are preparing to conduct additional light level testing to further pinpoint the precise location of the failure.
The damage has been confirmed as vandalism, and the physical break has now been fully identified. Crews are currently working to locate sufficient slack cable to support the repair effort

Looks like the repair efforts have restored services. I have not received an all clear from the vendor which means that work is still being done and your service may become unavailable again. I will post when I get an all clear and set status to "monitoring".

There was a drop in connectivity through a MOREnet vendor resulting in a disruption in traffic of about 3 minutes. We are investigating the reason for this incident.
An upstream internet vendor's router crashed in Kansas City, which forced a reboot of the affected system. All services are restored, but the internet provider is working with the equipment vendor to determine the cause of the crash. MOREnet will continue to monitor the situation.
Routing appears stable. MOREnet will continue to monitor for further instability.
