  1. investigating Mar 13, 2026, 07:41 AM UTC

We are currently investigating an issue affecting a subset backups within our Cohesity backup platform. Following a recent platform update to Cohesity version 7.3.2, we observed that some virtual machine backups are remaining in a queued state and are not starting as expected. Initial troubleshooting has been performed, including verification of cluster services, VMware source connectivity, and job scheduling. While many backups continue to run successfully, some VMs are still impacted. At this time, we have escalated the issue to Cohesity Support and are actively working with their engineering team to identify the root cause and implement a resolution. No data loss has occurred and existing backups remain intact. The issue currently affects the initiation of certain scheduled backups only. We will provide further updates as additional information becomes available or once a resolution has been implemented. If you have any questions or require further details, please contact our support team at [email protected] Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this issue.
