Microsoft is currently investigating an issue affecting Microsoft Teams, where some users may see inaccurate presence status information, such as Available, Busy, Away, or Offline, when viewing or interacting with other users. This is a Microsoft service incident and is not being caused by Esade systems. According to Microsoft, the issue is primarily affecting users in the EMEA region, although users in other regions may also experience impact when interacting with affected users. Microsoft has identified that a recent Teams traffic routing change introduced a misconfiguration, which caused the incorrect presence status information to appear. Microsoft has deployed a fix and is monitoring service telemetry to ensure full recovery. The Esade IT team is monitoring Microsoft’s updates and will share further information as it becomes available.
