    Incident Summary A hotfix deployed on March 3, 2026 at 6:00 PM ET introduced an issue affecting the checkout flow for some new customers. Under certain circumstances, the discount applied at checkout could be removed when a customer entered their email address during checkout. This behavior was related to a change intended to prevent discounts from being applied after a customer signs out of their account. Resolution The issue was identified and corrected on March 4, 2026 at 8:50 AM ET. Current Status The fix has been deployed and checkout behavior has returned to normal. We will continue monitoring to ensure consistent operation.

    From January 9 to January 13, an intermittent issue in the cache layer of our backend services resulted in reduced performance of the Promotion API for a subset of Discount Ninja merchants. The root cause was identified as a cache node malfunction. We have implemented improvements to the cache layer to increase resilience and ensure stable performance going forward.

    Access to the admin of the app is affected as well as live promotions. We are currently investigating the issue.

    The issue has been identified. Discount Ninja’s infrastructure runs on Microsoft Azure and uses Azure Front Door. Microsoft has confirmed a service disruption affecting Azure Front Door and is actively working on a fix.

    The incident has been resolved. Unfortunately some stores may experience partial data loss for the period of November 1st until November 15th. Specifically the number of views, add to carts and initiated checkouts may be underreported for some stores. Note that the number of orders and associated revenue is not included in the data set that experienced data loss. Changes have been made to our reporting infrastructure to avoid performance degradation in the future.
