Brightcove Engineering is actively working on a fix, and we will provide updates as we make progress. May 20, 2026 8:00PM EDT Identified - We have identified the issue affecting Cloud Playout. Our Engineering Team has performed mitigations and can confirm that service error rates have decreased significantly. Accordingly, Cloud Playout has returned to a partially operational state. We are continuing to investigate at the highest priority and will provide updates as we make progress. May 20, 2026 8:55PM EDT Identified - Brightcove Engineering has successfully mitigated the issue impacting Brightcove's CMS API and, by extension, Cloud Playout. The rate of latency and errors have dropped to pre-incident levels, and regular service operations have resumed. Accordingly, there should be no visible customer/publisher-facing impact. Brightcove Engineering is continuing to investigate the root cause and deploy fixes to the impacted services at the highest priority.
