Since June 30, Apple's App Store review service has been intermittently reporting some existing reviews as "not found". As a result, some App Store reviews may temporarily appear as deleted in AppFollow, and replies to them may be delayed. The issue is on Apple's side, it is reproducible directly in Apple's own developer console (App Store Connect) and is not specific to AppFollow. We are rolling out a workaround, will restore all affected reviews, and will deliver the pending replies. No action is needed on your side.

    • monitoring · Jul 21, 2026, 05:13 PM UTC

Steps implemented: • Shipped a workaround that retries reviews not found instead of immediately marking a review as deleted. • Restored the reviews that were incorrectly marked as deleted and re-sent all replies that had failed / been incorrectly detected. • Hardened our reply mechanism and strategy so we're less dependent on this kind of Apple-side instability going forward. We'll keep monitoring the situation. If users notice any reviews or replies that still look incorrectly marked, please reach out to support at [email protected]

The App Store is currently experiencing an issue where it may incorrectly report that a review cannot be found. To minimize the impact, we've increased the number of retry attempts on our end to help ensure replies are delivered successfully. As a result, some replies may remain in the "Processing reply" status longer than usual. This is expected while the issue persists. Once the App Store resolves the issue on its end, reply delivery times will return to normal automatically.

Reply to Reviews functionality may stop working if an agreement on the App Store side has expired. Please log in to App Store Connect and accept any pending agreements to restore the functionality. Follow the instructions below to complete the process. When a new version of the Paid Apps Agreement is available for you to sign, an alert appears in App Store Connect. You won’t be able to create a new app or In-App Purchase until you’ve agreed to the most recent version of the Paid Apps Agreement. 1. Select Business at the top of the page. 2. On the Agreements tab, find the Paid Apps row, then click View and Agree to Terms. 3. In the dialog, read and accept the terms, then click Submit.
