Elevated errors on pay API endpoints
Resolved after 32 minutes, on September 20, 2026.
Starting at 15:05 CT the Pay API began responding with 5xx level errors. This is due to unclosed stale database connections from the API workload computes accumulating and eventually maxing out our connection pool. At 15:10 API workload compute started decreasing tasks and closing database connections. API impact hit a maximum of 6% of all requests. At 15:30 API impact is less than 1% At 15:37 Last 5xx level error was detected
