At 9:16 AM CST, the WiscNet NOC saw a drop in service for multiple sites. However many of these sites recovered before all affected sites could be gathered and notified. We were later notified this outage occurred due to an upgrade to a site which caused a broadcast storm. This upgrade was reversed as soon as the broadcast storm was detected which brought most services back up. If you were affected by this outage and still currently do not have service, please contact the WiscNet NOC.

Hello, At 10:54 AM we observed the Jackson County - 2202 circuit alarm. We contacted the LMP and they advised they were not aware of any on going maintenances. While troubleshooting with LMP, the circuit restored at 11:11 AM. After checking the logs, it showed an uptime of 5 minutes. The reason for outage is attributed to a loss of power. We will be reaching back out to the LMP to investigate again, but would certainly appreciate if power could be confirmed on site.

They then cleared at 2:00 AM CST. Checking device showed the network port went down and was the cause. Root Cause: Network port down.
