Virtru is investigating network connectivity issues and increased error rates and latencies. AWS has posted a similar update for APIs within the US-EAST-2 Region, which is likely related.

AWS has informed us that they experienced a loss of power in one of their data centers. The power has now been restored to the affected facility and at this stage the majority of the affected EC2 instances have recovered. They expect to recover the vast majority of remaining EC2 instances within the next hour.
