Between 2026-07-20 14:50 UTC and 2026-07-20 16:30 UTC, an incident at a third-party provider caused degraded performance for the delivery of Watchlist Screening (PEP and Sanctions) webhooks. During this period, Watchlist Screening results could not be generated, and the corresponding webhook notifications were not delivered for a small subset of affected sessions. This incident was isolated exclusively to the third-party provider; Veriff's core identity verification and decision-making capabilities were not impacted. The third-party service has since returned to normal operation and Watchlist Screening webhook delivery has resumed. Affected sessions can be reprocessed for the Watchlist Screening (PEP & Sanctions) check, after which results will be available via webhook, the Public API, and Veriff Hub/ Station.
