    This update is to inform you of UHIN’s file retention policy regarding temporary transfer locations such as SFTP servers, mailboxes, and other designated folders. Files stored in these locations will be available for retrieval for 90 days only. After 90 days, files will be automatically deleted and will no longer be accessible via these methods. Please note that this 90-day policy applies only to files in transfer folders. It is separate from UHIN’s long-term transaction archiving policy, under which specific transaction data is archived for 10 years for compliance and historical purposes. We strongly recommend that you establish internal processes to download and securely store any needed files within the 90-day window to ensure uninterrupted access to your data.
