RMIS: SAFER Status Change

Update timeline

   The SAFER company snapshot has been updated with a number of brand new Operating Authority Statuses, resulting in a many carriers being decertified in RMIS. We are working with FMCSA to confirm this change. In the meantime, we are reverting any carriers that were updated back to the status they had before. Once we have confirmation from the FMCSA, we will adjust appropriately to reflect the latest accurate Operating Authority Status information.

   We have begun ingesting Motus data into RMIS and are seeing some anomalies that we are investigating. We will continue to provide updates as we progress on a full solution.

   The Motus data import into RMIS has completed. We are now working through applying that data to carrier records in RMIS, which will continue over the next several hours. Going forward, any new data received will process through the system in real time. We will continue to provide updates as we progress.

   The ingestion is complete and we have turned Motus data updates back on for most carriers within Truckstop’s RMIS. For a small number of carriers, Motus has cases where more than one active DOT number shares the same MC number, making it unreliable to determine which carrier record an update belongs to. We've reported this to the FMCSA and are not displaying any updated Motus data those carriers until it's has been resolved by the FMCSA. We will continue to provide updates.
