Speakap temporarily unavailable as a security precaution

   A critical security vulnerability has been disclosed in PHP, a widely used programming language. The PHP team will release a fix today at 16:00 CEST (14:00 UTC). As a precaution, we have decided to take Speakap offline until that fix is available and installed. We have no indication that Speakap or your data has been affected. This is a preventive measure to keep it that way. We expect Speakap to remain offline until after 16:00 CEST, once the fix has been installed. We will post an update here as soon as the platform is available again. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

   A security fix has been released, and we are now installing it on our platform. This takes longer than expected, and we don’t have a reliable time for this yet. We will only bring the platform back online once everything has been checked. Our next update will be around 17:30 CEST, or sooner if the situation changes. Thank you for your patience.

   We are making progress. The updated components with the security fix are ready, and we are now preparing to install them across our platform.    We continue making progress, but we ran into problems with the official packages containing the security fix. We had to take additional steps, which is costing us extra time. Once the updated components are installed and every system has been checked, we will bring Speakap back online. Our next update will be around 19:30 CEST, or sooner if the situation changes.    Speakap is back online for customers in our US data center. We have installed the security fix and checked all systems there. We are now installing the fix in our EU data center and will bring Speakap back online there once every system has been checked. We will continue to provide updates on this page.    Speakap is now also back online for customers in our EU data center. We have installed the security fix and checked all systems there. Customers in our US data center have been back online since earlier this evening. The security fix is now installed on EU and USA environments. We will keep monitoring the platform closely. We know this took longer than expected, and we are sorry for the disruption it caused today. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
