Update timeline

  1. resolved Jan 26, 2026, 05:08 PM UTC

On Wednesday January 21st, the DEA website experienced a technical issue where a number of the entities listed on their United States Drug Enforcement Agency Fugitives list no longer appeared on their website. On Wednesday, Jan 21 at 9:54 AM EST, our data ingestion system interpreted this failure to retrieve these entities as entity deletions, and as a result monitoring alerts were triggered to your system indicating that these entities were removed. By Wednesday, January 21 at 1:40 PM EST, we restored the incorrectly deleted entities in our database, after which the data was fully available again. Additional corrective monitoring alerts were triggered for entities that were added back as part of the data correction. During this period of time, any entities who are screened but not monitored against this list may have incorrectly not received a match against the United States Drug Enforcement Agency Fugitives list.
