Effective May 22, 2026 GlobalPost’s Southern California (LAX/Cypress, CA) processing hub has temporarily suspended operations due to a local evacuation order following a chemical leak. All pickups and drop-offs in the LAX area will be delayed, and packages currently at the facility are being held.
Due to the situation in the Middle East, several carriers are either closely monitoring or adjusting their availability. UPS is closely monitoring the situation and using established contingency plans to manage its operations safely and efficiently. FedEx has resumed pickup and delivery services across the Middle East, where it is safe to do so. Customers shipping to or from the region will experience extended transit times. USPS: Specific military ZIP Codes across Europe and the Middle East are suspended temporarily for all mailing services until further notice. GlobalPost: Several Middle Eastern countries are temporarily suspended for all mailing services until further notice. Canada Post: Canada Post and the CUPW have reached agreements in principle but have yet to finalize tentative collective agreements for signing. At this time, strike/lockout activity is suspended. DHL Express is fully prepared and has contingency plans in place during labor disruptions to continue servicing its customers. Effective June 8, 2025, you may continue printing shipping labels destined for Canada through DHL Express from ShipWorks.
DHL Express shipping operations in Canada will be suspended effective Friday, June 20, 2025, at 12 a.m. E.T. As a result, DHL Express will suspend the collection of shipments destined to or dispatched from Canada as of Tuesday, June 17 at 9 p.m. E.T. until further notice. On this day, mail deliveries, retail services, and administrative office activity will be temporarily suspended. Effective Monday, January 6, 2025, USPS will resume full service to Canada and begin accepting mail and packages again. Starting Monday, January 6, 2025, you can create and print USPS labels destined for Canada using your ShipWorks account. Please note that due to the recent CUPW strike and accumulated backlog, shipments may experience delays. GlobalPost: Effective Monday, January 6, 2025, GlobalPost has resumed full service to Canada, including P.O. Boxes and previously restricted postal codes, and is now accepting mail and packages again for these destinations.
